NBA forward Kelly Olynyk got married in style over the week, celebrating his nuptials with friends and family at an elaborate—albeit decidedly casual—reception at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. Olynyk and wife Jackie McNulty—both Gonzaga alums—spared no expense, treating guests to food trucks, a scavenger hunt, sushi flown in from Olynyk’s favorite restaurant in Boston (where he played for the Celtics from 2013-17), mini-basketball, a “shot clock” for chugging drinks and even table games including craps and poker.

In keeping with the wedding’s laidback aesthetic, the 6’11” Olynyk, who averaged 9.1 points per game for the Pistons last season, walked down the aisle in a tux and custom sneakers (Nike Air Force Ones), sporting his signature scruff with red, shoulder-length hair poking out either side of his backwards baseball cap. For those puzzled or even outraged by Olynyk breaking tradition with his unusual attire, know that Saturday was actually the couple’s third party following an intimate ceremony reserved for immediate family members in Idaho and a Vegas wedding officiated by an Elvis impersonator.

Finally tying the knot after five years of dating, the two lovebirds are off to Europe for their honeymoon, traveling to Mykonos, Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast, according to Anna Lazarus Caplan of People Magazine. Selected 13th overall by the Celtics in 2013, the 31-year-old Canadian has been a productive role player throughout his career, averaging 10.1 points on 47.6-percent shooting (36.5 percent from downtown) over 610 NBA appearances (168 starts) for Boston, Miami, Houston and Detroit. He’s also made a fortune ($70.36 million in career earnings), allowing him the financial freedom to plan not one but THREE separate weddings and a lavish, Mediterranean vacation to boot.
