Not to rain on your parade, but your current umbrella probably isn’t as practical as it could be. Enter the Mrtlloa Double Layer Inverted Umbrella. This baby turns traditional umbrellas on their heads — literally. The inverted design means when you close it, the inside is what’s wet rather than the outside, so no more getting your pant legs or car seats damp. It also makes it easier to get in and out of the car or other enclosed spaces without getting soaked (or poking an unsuspecting passerby in the eye).

And thanks to small ventilation holes and eight steel ribs making up the frame, it won’t fly inside out in a windstorm, either.

Perhaps the best part? When the umbrella is closed, those eight steel ribs act as legs that allow the umbrella to stand up on its own!

The C-shaped handle can hook to your arm to keep your hands free for carrying bags, babies or what have you. And the colorful design is on the inside to brighten up your rainy day. Genius.

The umbrella comes in 34 patterns, from stripes to flowers and everything in between.

“I call it the ‘Poppins’ umbrella,” said a happy customer. “Yea, I'm dating myself a little here. I grew up loving Mary Poppins and her infallible umbrella. This amazing umbrella design is so easy to carry (even for my 75 year old mother with a bad back and COPD), and holds up to the worst of our Ohio rainy season. It arrived just in time for some big expected rains. I love all the beautiful designs and colors. It's so easy to shake off the water, opens up and folds back up so easily. My son first introduced us to this umbrella when he got one gifted to him from his company Christmas party. Now, we all have one. I plan to get more to give as gifts as well. It's different, and no one can find them in a regular department store. They love them too.”

“Most unusual,” said a five-star fan. “This umbrella is handy for getting in and out of the car, in that I can engage the umbrella before I get out of the car without getting wet. It is also sturdy and with the handle I am able to hook it in my belt, wrap my arm around it and keep my hands free. I'm impressed with this product.”
