Fear of God reconnected with New Era.

Earlier this week, the Jerry Lorenzo-founded brand unveiled a small batch of 59Fifty fitted caps made in collaboration with the sportswear powerhouse. The collaborative design pays homage to America’s favorite past-time, and was inspired by the spring training baseball hats of the 1970s.

The caps feature full mesh, structured crowns made from polyester. They’re emblazoned with the signature “F” script logo, tonal New Era branding on the left side, an embroidered MLB logo on the back, and a 100 percent wool brim with a contrasting green undervisor.

In support of the release, Fear of God unveiled a campaign that celebrates the beauty of the American West. The images were shot by Erik Ian, with creative direction by Lorenzo. You can check out some of the campaign images—starring Danny Ramirez—below.

The Fear of God x New Era 59Fifties were released in three understated, versatile colorways: black, navy, and a walnut brown. The Essentials caps are available to purchase at Fear of God’s online store for $65.

The Los Angeles-based imprint unveiled the 59Fifty campaign about a month after it dropped the fall 2022 lookbook for Essentials, a Fear of God sub-line that offers apparel, shoes, and accessories at more affordable price points.
