New York heat wave but make it chic.

Jennifer Lawrence traded her go-to white tee for a breezy black crop top on a recent outing, but the real star of the outfit was her unexpected accessory: a tiny umbrella.

The Don't Look Up star stepped out over the weekend in New York City's West Village wearing a relaxed summer ensemble made up of a short-sleeved black crop top, wide-leg blue jeans, and beige Birkenstocks. She carried a glossy black croc-embossed shoulder bag with a brown handle and accessorized with dark-tinted oval sunglasses and a gold necklace.

Lawrence—who had her hair pulled back into a messy ponytail—kept the sun away with the help of a small white umbrella with a short handle, which she held close to her face. To stay hydrated, she carried a large white water bottle decorated with some funny memes.

Lawrence has been seen out and about in the city various times over the past several weeks—always looking fresh in her laid-back looks, often next to husband Cooke Maroney. The couple—who welcomed their first child together earlier this year—have been coordinating looks as of late, pairing their staple white tees with different pieces.

For a recent outing, Maroney styled his tee with navy pants and matching Vans sneakers, while Lawrence went simple yet elegant, opting for beige wide-leg trousers and black sandals. On another day, for a dinner date with the gallerist, the actress styled the classic T-shirt with a cobalt blue maxi skirt and strappy caramel Manolo Blahnik sandals.
