Rain is definitely arriving Thursday. For SunFest goers, the key questions are how much and when?

A cool front coming in from the north will stall out over the area that will likely bring afternoon showers that will continue into the evening in Palm Beach County.

With SunFest opening its doors for the four-day festival at 5 p.m., Thursday, that could make for a soggy and muddy start.

But it isn't going to be a total washout and your best bet will be to bring a rain poncho you can fold up and fit in your pocket or the traditional umbrella.

The low will be 72 with a chance of rain at 70 percent. Winds will come from the east at 10 to 20 mph.

5:45 p.m.: Citizen Badger (rock)

6:45 p.m.: Colony House (indie rock)

8:15 p.m.: The Goo Goo Dolls, an alternative rock / grunge band will roll out many of their hits, including the 1990s classic Iris, which spent nearly 12 months on the Billboard charts. Other top songs include Slide, Black Balloon and Broadway.

6 p.m.: American Sigh (indie rock)

7 p.m.: flipturn (indie rock)

8:15 p.m.: SunFest is the third stop for Rainbow Kitten Surprise's 2022 Tour. Also known as RKS, is an alternative rock indie band formed in 2013 at Appalachian State University. Known for harmonies and instrumentation, the group's name was created by a friend who was on a morphine drip at the time, recently out of surgery.

6 p.m.: Andrew Morris Band (country)

7 p.m.: Kidd G (Latin rap, hip-hop, country)

8:30 p.m.: Sam Hunt has nine top 10 country hits, including Leave the Night On, Take Your Time, House Party and Body Like a Back Road. His album Montevallo included four number ones from his debut solo album.

If you are just going for Thursday, a one-day pass for an adult is $65 and $35 for kids 6-12. Tickets are day-specific and must be chosen at the time of purchase.

A 2-day or 4-day ticket can also be purchased.

Parking does not include festival admission and reserved parking must be purchased by 10 p.m. of the preceding day.

SunFest takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway in downtown West Palm Beach. The festival grounds are on Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue. Approximate GPS address is 101 S. Clematis St., West Palm Beach.
